Janice Plemmons-Jackson, CPA – Partner
Janice Plemmons-Jackson is a certified public accountant that graduated from Lipscomb University located in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Janice founded the firm in 2000. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). She has 40+ years of experience with individuals, small business, municipalities, and nonprofit entities. Janice working with her church, enjoying time with her grandchildren, and cheering on the Titans round out her spare time.
Mark Cabaniss, CPA – Partner
Mark Cabaniss is a certified public accountant that graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Mark joined the firm in 2003 and became a partner in 2006. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He has 20+ years of experience with small businesses and individual clients. Mark enjoys traveling with his family, especially exploring National Parks, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Lynn Johnson, CPA
Lynn Johnson is a certified public accountant that graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting, magna cum laude. Lynn joined the firm in 2020. She has 20+ years of experience with small businesses and individual clients. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). When she’s not at work, you will probably find her sitting on bleachers somewhere cheering on her husband or her sons’ football teams.
Hunter DeSena, CPA
Hunter DeSena is a certified public accountant. He joined the firm in 2022 after completing his Master of Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a specialization in taxation. Hunter attended Maryville College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in finance/accounting, magna cum laude. While attending Maryville College, he was a member of the golf team and an academic mentor. Hunter performs tax services for our small business and individual clients. Lois McDonald
Lois McDonald joined the firm in 2023. She was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where she worked for a CPA firm for 23 years. Lois will provide payroll and bookkeeping services, and office administration. She enjoys walks with her two dogs, Dixie and Midnight, motorcycle riding with her husband, and exploring the many waterfalls Tennessee has to offer.
